No.1 for powered access service and certification

As 2025 comes to a close and we move into 2026, Aerial Access Services is preparing to celebrate 20 years in business. What began as a small, highly focused operation in Bellshill has grown into one of Scotland’s most trusted names in powered access. The journey has been shaped by hard work, strong partnerships, and a consistent promise to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient solutions for working at height.
For nearly 20 years, Aerial Access Services has supported clients across Scotland with a complete package. Customers turn to us for MEWP hire, new and used machine sales, responsive breakdown support, scheduled maintenance, and LOLER examinations. Our IPAF aligned training gives operators and managers practical skills they can use on site, improving safety, compliance, and day-to-day performance.
The industry has changed a great deal in that time. Machines are smarter and cleaner, diagnostics are faster, and expectations are higher. Through every shift, our purpose has stayed the same, to keep customers productive and safe. That means honest advice, clear reporting, and engineers who take pride in a job done right.
From the Central Belt to the Highlands and Islands, our team works across Scotland every week. One day it could be a pre-planned maintenance visit in Aberdeen, the next a urgent repair in Glasgow, or operator training on a customer’s site in Dundee. Whatever the call, we act quickly and communicate clearly. That focus on reliability and follow-through is a big reason so many customers choose to stay with us year after year.
Our sales support follows the same approach. Whether you need a first machine or an expansion to a growing fleet, we match the specification to the real job on site. Quality used stock is fully inspected and ready to work, and our aftercare keeps you moving long after delivery day.

Compliance is not a tick-box task for us, it is part of the culture. Our SafeContractor Accreditation recognises the systems and behaviours that protect people and sites, and we are proud to uphold that standard. LOLER examinations are completed by certified engineers, with clear digital records and reminders to help customers stay organised. Training remains a priority, both for clients and for our own team, so skills keep pace with technology and regulations.
Equipment matters, yet people make the difference. Many of our engineers, trainers, and coordinators have grown with the business. They know the machines, they understand how our customers work, and they care about outcomes. That mix of technical skill and genuine pride shows in every call-out, every handover, and every training session.
Reaching 20 years is a moment to celebrate, it is also a moment to plan. In 2026 and beyond we will continue to invest in training, tools, and technology. We will grow our service capacity, refine our reporting, and expand our support so that customers can rely on us even more. The goal is simple, to keep Scotland’s workforce safely elevated, with the right equipment and the right help at the right time.
A heartfelt thank you to our customers, suppliers, and partners. Your trust has helped us reach this milestone. From the first hires and early service calls, to today’s nationwide coverage, your support has shaped our story. Here is to the next chapter, with the same values that have guided us from the start, safety, reliability, and a friendly, can-do approach.
