covid-19 key work

Aerial Access Services Ltd would like to reassure you, our customers, that we are still open and able to support you.

We remain dedicated to delivering our award-winning service despite these uncertain times. Our service engineers are providing maintenance inspections, LOLER examinations and breakdown repairs.

IMPORTANT: HSE Statement and IPAF Guidelines

The Health and Safety Executive has released a statement that makes it very clear that you must have your MEWPs examined at least every six months. Even in the current climate, THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD FOR LOLER EXAMINATIONS.

You can read the HSE Statement in full by following this link: https://www.hse.gov.uk/news/work-equipment-coronavirus.htm

In addition, we are following the guidelines recommended by the International Powered Access Federation:

Maintaining safety on site

Whether we visit your site for a LOLER examination, maintenance inspection, or to carry out breakdown repairs, here are a few ways we can all stay safe:

Social distancing: Everyone present should adhere to the 2m social distancing rule. Avoid all unnecessary contact where possible.

Equipment isolation: To aid our engineers in working safely, please put the machine in an isolated area.

Sterilisation: Note that coronavirus can live on steel for up to three days. To ensure that the equipment is safe for our engineer, please wipe it down before they arrive.

Your procedures: Our engineers do their best to accommodate your company’s recommendations were possible. If you have any other procedures regarding COVID-19, please inform us prior to the visit, so our engineer can arrive prepared.

We will update this statement as the situation changes, following government and HSE guidelines.

We know that everyone is facing uncertainty at this time, and thank you for your continued custom. We hope you and your business continue to be well.
